As usual, your response was clear, accurate, and heartfelt. I am always amazed at your ability to clarify the issues and pull , from the tainted view of the press, the real meat of the matter and state it in a way the average citizen can read and understand. While global warming may, at some later date, become an issue, America has far more to worry about now. It is good to see attention pulled away from statements made like those of Mr. Kristof and see it redirected to issues that are of immediate concern to the American public. Keep up the good work at keeping folks like myself informed of what is really going on in the world today. You column is always a pleasure to read.
